Lehka hlava/Clear Head (Borsov 280/2, Prague 1-Old Town) - Probably the most popular vegetarian restaurant in Prague. There are three main rooms, each with different style and design. The most popular is called heaven.

Maitrea (Tynska ulicka 6/1064, Prague 1- Old Town) - Vegetarian Restaurant hidden in the narrow streets of Old Town. Unique interior & atmosphere.

Naplavka Riverbank (Rašínovo nábř. 44/2, Vyšehrad, Praha 2) - A version of Prague beach party place. Náplavka is a name of the part of riverbank under the Jiráskův bridge where are several bars and restaurants. You will find here an elegant italian restaurant of Botel Matylda, stylish Restaurant Vltava (great fish specialities), or restaurant on a boat Kristian Marco with good food and cheap beer, and finally Bajkazyl, vibrant center of Náplavka’s nightlife.

Villa Richter (Stare zamecke schody 6/25, Prague 1) - It has best view in Prague by far and the food tastes grit. Not overpriced, one of the places where there is excellent standard of customer service for reasonable price. Definitely recommended, go to the terrace.

Lokal (Dlouha street, Prague 1) - A hugely popular pub in the centre, clean & spacious. Great tank Pilsner, beer snacks, simple quality Czech food and draft beer. Not overpriced

Naše maso /Our Meat (Dlouha st. 727/39, Prague) - StandUp' meal from local butcher. Traditional Czech Butcher Shop designer in modern look. Whatever you buy there they can either warm up or grill up for you. And you can tap your own beer - by yourself. Great burgers! Very popular, always crowded.

Cacao Cafe (V Celnici 1031, Prague 1) - Friendly atmosphere, nice choice from cakes to healthy shakes. Directly in the centre, not overpriced.

House of the Black Madonna (Ovocny Trh 19, Prague 1) - The unique & The Only Cubist Cafe in the world! Located on the first floor of the famous House of the Black Madonna, build & decorated in the unique cubist style.

Choco-Café U Červené židle (Liliova 250/4, Prague 1) - They have the best hot chocolate in many variations. Warm and cosy place just a few steps from Karlova Street.

Skautsky institut (Staromestske namesti 1/4, Prague 1- Old Town) - The only authentic Cafe at Old Town Square. Cosy place with really friendly atmosphere, with more than reasonable prices for such a location. Try it, if you want to avoid crowded touristy places.

Krásný Ztráty/Beautiful Loss (Naprstkova 10, Prague 1-Old Town) - This cafe/restaurant is a meeting point for the artists, students, dancers, located nearby the Theatre School. It's a multifunctional place with a wine cellar, small library, gallery, concert hall. Very cosy atmosphere.

IF Cafe (U Sovovych mlynu 501/7, Prague 1) - Close to Lennon Wall, nice stop after a long stroll around river Vltava

Cafe Louvre (Narodni 22, Prague 1 - New Town) - One of the Prague's top cafes, opened in 1902. Franz Kafka used to come here with his friends. Ideal for early birds as it opens at 8.00am in weekdays. Very popular, often crowded.

U Provaznice (Provaznicka 853/3, Prague 1) - A traditional and much-loved pub offering Czech cuisine and of course draft beer. A hidden gem in the heart of the city, nice stop after shopping at Wenceslas Square area. Reasonable prices.

Kalina Kampa Restaurant (Ricni 563/1, Prague 1 - Mala Strana) - Great food at a nice location. We locals love it & go there for one of the best foods in town for very reasonable prices.

Konírna (Maltezske namesti 292/10, Prague 1 - Mala Strana) - Old fashioned place with Czech cuisine from a famous chef, great for a fine dinner with a glass of wine after long walks in Lesser Town.

Klášterní pivovar Strahov (Strahovske nadvori 301/10, Prague 1 - Hradcany) - The best beer in medieval monastery. Nothing can beat sitting on a patio of a 1000- year-old monastery drinking beer on a sunny day...

Pražský most u Valšů (Betlemska 286/5 Prague 1- Old Town) - Traditional Czech Brewery, serving only classic light or dark beer. But it's SOO good. If you are a beer lover don't miss it.

U Maleho Glena - Upstairs is a spacious BAR with a wide variety of tables and bar stools which can accommodate all size parties with many different configurations. Downstairs in our music club, LIVE JAZZ & BLUES shows are presented seven nights a week, with renouned talented musicians from all over the world.
